Sensitive & Redness‑Prone Skin
Sensitive and redness‑prone skin can feel reactive, warm, easily irritated, or consistently flushed. These changes often relate to barrier impairment, inflammation, environmental triggers, or underlying sensitivity. With calm, supportive, evidence‑based care, the skin can become more resilient, comfortable, and balanced over time.
How I support sensitive & redness‑prone skin
Sensitive skin requires a gentle, barrier‑first approach. Most plans focus on:
Reducing inflammation
Calming redness and heat
Strengthening the skin barrier
Restoring comfort and hydration
Improving long‑term resilience
Your treatment is personalised on the day following a skin assessment and paced carefully to avoid overstimulation.
What to book
Consultation + First Treatment (45–75 mins)
A personalised treatment chosen after your skin assessment. Ideal for all new clients or anyone unsure what they need.
This single appointment allows me to select the most appropriate calming and barrier‑supportive treatment for your skin on the day.
Treatments I may use for sensitive & redness‑prone skin
(You do not need to choose — these are selected during your appointment.)
LED Light Therapy (Red + Near‑Infrared)
AUD $100 Standalone
A customised LED session using Red and/or Near‑Infrared wavelengths to calm inflammation, reduce redness, support healing, and strengthen the skin barrier. NIR is particularly effective for deeper inflammation and chronic redness while remaining extremely gentle for reactive skin.
Hydrating & Barrier‑Supportive Facial
AUD $200
A gentle, restorative treatment designed to settle heat, reduce redness, and support the barrier without stimulation. May include cooling masks, hyaluronic acid, and moisture repair layering.
Epidermal Levelling / Dermaplaning Facial + LED
AUD $200
A soft, manual exfoliation to remove surface buildup and improve smoothness. Used cautiously and only when the barrier is stable.
What to expect
Treatments are calm, soothing, and paced carefully to avoid overstimulation. Your plan may include Red LED, cooling masks, hydrating serums, and barrier‑supportive layering depending on your skin’s tolerance on the day.
The focus is always on reducing inflammation, strengthening the barrier, and supporting long‑term skin health.
